who where and when -

I sing and play keyboards and guitar tracks, also programmed the amazing korg workstation for the beats. most tracks recorded winter of 05 in the spacious desert living room studio, vocal tracks finished in the kitchen of my brother's house, fall 06.

a very early version

kela kele keli kelo kelu

kele

you took a bent nail
from my studio
locked up a piece of my heart
I’ll never get to feel again

we were passing
mile post 222
small trees were advancing
moonless celtic night

kela kele keli kelo kelu
I still love you

you moved to germany
were you running away from me?
don’t you remember
our pilgrimage to the witch tree

as comfortable as breathing.

you are here.

do you remember that?
stole my heart at that moment.
amazing eyes that saw right through my thin skin.
real love.
unselfish. always a big smile.
exactly what I needed (and still need) in my life.

not a problem. never a problem.
can I kick myself hard enough about you?
I don't think so.
I have been a stupid man many times in my life,
but there are a handful of times that I showed ultimate short-sightedness,
and you are one of those.

you found absolute delight in the simplest of things.
so good for me. so good for my mental health.
just to sit with you was joy.
we did so much. you inspired me. encouraged me.
you were my muse.

so many good memories, and not one bad.
the witch tree, the dusk drive up 35 listening to Loreena,
camping, the zoo (avec t'on bebe), bricks in wire mesh,
and those sparkling eyes, always your amazing eyes.

i love you.
I love you more now, than I ever did when I was with you.
why did I have to walk away???
what an idiot.
